This training option includes four (4) 2-3 hour sessions.
Understanding the distinctions between a mentor, a coach, and a sponsor is essential for employee development. Each role serves a unique purpose in fostering professional growth and navigating career paths. By clarifying these differences, employees can better leverage these relationships for their advancement. An extra benefit is after the training series your team will be able to teach the young people they work with about the distinction between the three and use the strategies provided to help the youth and young adults identify mentors, coaches and sponsors to support them as they explore jobs and careers.
Educating employees about these roles can empower them to seek the right support for their professional journeys. By recognizing the value each role brings, individuals can strategically engage with mentors, coaches, and sponsors to maximize their potential and achieve their career goals.
This training option includes two (2) 2-3 hour sessions.
While many team members actively engage in implementing action plans aimed at advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, access, justice, and belonging (DEIAJB) within their departments and independent projects, it is uncommon for individuals to create action plans that foster their own development as leaders. This series is designed to assist employees in crafting personalized action plans that outline self-directed tasks, enabling them to concentrate on their individual journeys toward enhancing DEIAJB in their professional practices. By focusing on personal growth in this critical area, participants will not only contribute to a more inclusive workplace but also cultivate their leadership skills, ultimately benefiting both their careers and the agency as a whole.
By the end of this series every employee will leave with a tangible DEIAJB Personal Growth Plan.
This training option includes six (6) 2-3 hour sessions with key stakeholders.
Developing thorough Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for your educational programs and initiatives guarantees uniformity, high standards, and effective, quality service delivery. These
procedures serve as a detailed guide, delineating the precise actions and protocols required for successful execution and oversight. By establishing SOPs, you foster a sense of assurance and stability among team members, empowering them to embrace their roles and fulfill service delivery objectives with confidence.
The process of developing SOPs involves a thorough analysis of current program development and delivery practices then identifying areas that require standardization. Information about current procedures will be collected from a variety of internal stakeholders such as program staff leading programs, program directors who are overseeing programs, and past clients who
participated in your programs to ensure the process of improving current procedures are relevant and practical.
During this 6 part series we will document each step of the program delivery process, from curriculum development and lesson planning to service delivery assessment and feedback. By doing so, you and your team will create a comprehensive guide that outlines the procedures and incorporates best practices and compliance.
This training option includes six (6) 2-3 hour sessions with key stakeholders.
Enhancing the design of your educational programs and initiatives that focus on leadership, life skills, mentorship, etc. involves a comprehensive approach to refining your curriculum and instructional methods. The 6 part process not only focuses on the aesthetic aspects of design but will also emphasize the importance of aligning educational objectives with the needs and preferences of young adults. By integrating a variety of teaching strategies, incorporating technology, and fostering an engaging learning environment, you will significantly improve the overall effectiveness and appeal of your program(s) and initiatives.
Together we will engage in a strategic evaluation of existing content, delivery methods, analyze young adult feedback and look at industry trends, and teaching methods to ensure your programs remain relevant and impactful. By prioritizing collaboration among educators, stakeholders, and the young adults you serve, we have the opportunity to work together to continue providing learning opportunities that inspire and motivate your team and the young adults to achieve their full potential.

“The activity during the Quarter 2 Planning Session where we wrote our goals out. This actually helped me to scale back and focus on 3 major goals rather than the 5 I had on paper.
