Since 2011, Mission Accomplished has been proactively removing barriers for young professionals to build careers in five key industries: fashion, beauty, construction, mural painting, and interior decorating. Black and Brown professionals in particular have been historically barred from these industries. To tackle this issue, we promote access and opportunity through personalized, comprehensive industry-specific career and business education, mentorship, coaching, and sponsorship opportunities for underserved and undervalued young people hoping to elevate their careers.
These programs have brought workforce and economic development to over 6,000 youth across the Capital Region, including direct placement into careers. .
We invite you to help make sure our programs and services sustain for the long term with a generous donation today.
The Sponsor 4 Success fund is an unrestricted fund that allows us to utilize donations to support the various needs of our students from the career and business mentorship we provide to paying for medication, transportation or workforce equipment and supplies like laptops.
Your monthly donation will be an investment in sustaining our career and business education, coaching and mentoring programs for under/unemployed rising young employees or entrepreneurs.
From our paid internship program to our business incubators, your contribution will ensure ambitious young professionals have access to quality career and business education that makes them more marketable in the job market and business world as qualified professionals to hire or do business with.
Invest what you can. Your financial investment will be the pebble in the pond that creates the ripple for change.
Donate at a level that supports your budget. All support makes a meaningful impact.
Your investment will help one student purchase a business outfit. A new outfit will help them feel more confident leading up and during the experience and make a statement during an interview or professional event. You will help a young professional style themselves to make a lasting impression.
Your investment will help 1 entrepreneur participate in one of our business incubators.
The Business Incubators provide ambitious young social impact entrepreneurs ages 18-35 with 18 months of career and business education, coaching and mentorship to advance their careers and elevate their businesses in our five key industries.
You will invest in an entrepreneur who refuses to settle for ordinary. Whether you’re breaking new ground in construction, setting trends in fashion, shaping spaces through interior decorating, redefining beauty, or creating public art masterpieces, this is your chance to help pave the way for a future success story.
Your investment will help us make sure our internship program maintains its “earn while you learn” model. It is of GREAT importance to us that our student interns get paid while they are developing workforce skills. They contribute to making sure our programming remains relevant to the youth community.
The stipend helps them start to gain a sense of financial independence while being able to use funds to help alleviate financial responsibilities at home because they will be able to buy their own clothes, shoes, school supplies, pay exam fees, and more.
Each student intern or entrepreneur who completes our internship or business incubator program receives a toolkit with supplies and equipment, gift cards, and other tools that will help them to continue advancing their career.
Many times our students do not have the high quality supplies and equipment they need to continue on their journey, from electronics like tablets or content creation equipment to art or construction supplies, this toolkit helps them feel even more confident in their ability to keep advancing after completing our programs.
The Education Care Packages are provided to graduating high school seniors who are moving onto advanced education. Your investment removes economic barriers that come along with transitioning into young adulthood. While students gain access to financial resources to pay for tuition or program fees, they may not have the additional money to pay for school supplies and equipment, bedding, toiletries, food, transportation, etc. This care package comes with all these items.
